Position Overview

BlueCat is a key player in the rapidly growing space of Intelligent Network Operations. Our Intelligent NetOps solution provides organizations with a new model for network operations, linking foundational core services with a deep, predictive understanding of network health and performance to improve change readiness. BlueCat enables teams to enhance agility and mitigate risks from high rates of change with a unified management lifecycle, from provisioning to proactive troubleshooting and remediation.

About the BlueCat Sales Team

Responsibilities

  • Territory Management & Sales Planning: Create, manage, and execute a strategic territory coverage and sales plan to achieve revenue goals consistently on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Revenue Achievement: Meet and exceed established monthly and quarterly revenue objectives.
  • Account & Deal Strategy: Plan and manage both account and deal strategies. Identify, qualify, orchestrate, and close new business within named existing accounts.
  • Account Understanding: Develop a detailed understanding of the organizational structure, competitive landscape, and technology stack within your assigned account list.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Implement an effective go-to-market strategy that includes evolving customer requirements, technology and channel partners, funding, and marketing strategy.
  • Demand Generation & Pipeline Management: Prospect into targeted named accounts. Develop and execute field sales campaigns to create demand, and work closely with Lead Generation and Sales Engineering resources to build and manage a robust pipeline of new business.
  • Sales Process Management: Manage multiple complex sales processes simultaneously.
  • Value Proposition Articulation: Articulate the BlueCat value proposition to senior IT leaders, effectively identify and quantify customer requirements, and highlight ROI and business value through a consultative sales approach.
  • Team Collaboration: Work within a team environment, managing internal and external resources to execute account and deal strategies and maximize sales efforts and success rates.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, referenceable relationships with Enterprise program managers, contract officers, and senior executives in your assigned territory.
  • Forecasting & CRM: Accurately forecast and maintain the system of record in Salesforce.com.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of enterprise sales experience.
  • Enterprise Transactions: Previous enterprise sales experience includes completing transactions with Fortune 1000 Companies.
  • Sales Track Record: A sales track record of consistent over-achievement against assigned quota and a high level of income attainment.
  • Strategic Selling: Demonstrated success in strategic account selling; a strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute an account plan and strategy.
  • Pipeline Development: Hunter mentality with proven experience in effectively building a quality pipeline.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a results-driven, team-oriented sales organization.
