Candidates must possess 5+ years of sales experience, a strong desire to join a high-growth software startup in a remote role, and experience selling developer or technical products, particularly within a product-led growth (PLG) motion. They should have experience presenting to senior managers and executives, effectively manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, meet and exceed quota, and utilize tools like Gong for pipeline management. Experience collaborating with a Sales Engineer is also required.
As an Enterprise Account Executive, the individual will be responsible for building a credible pipeline through a land-and-expand strategy, taking ownership of the full sales cycle from lead to close, educating customers on the value of Tailscale, generating short-term results while maintaining annual pipeline coverage, providing accurate weekly forecasting and revenue delivery, and creating mutual action/success plans with customers. They will also work a book consisting of 50% existing clients and 50% new accounts, collaborating closely with the Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Support, Marketing, and Product teams.
