Candidates should possess 6-8 years of project management experience, including time, cost, scope, and risk management, with a PMP certification being a plus. A minimum of 5 years of professional consulting experience, preferably in Enterprise software, is required. Proven ability to influence change within customer organizations, excellent instincts for senior-level interaction, and experience with SaaS applications supporting Enterprise business processes are essential. Strong CRM experience, particularly with Salesforce.com or Dynamics, and the ability to coordinate effectively across functional and technical teams, both internally and with partners, in-person and virtually, are necessary. Familiarity with cross-functional teams like Sales, Customer Success, Product, Enablement, and Engineering, along with a desire to embrace change and hypergrowth, is expected. Willingness to travel is also a requirement.
Engagement Managers will lead all aspects of Managed Services engagements for Gong customers, managing multiple customer programs within defined scope, schedule, and budget. They will forecast work, deploy program resources according to delivery plans, and ensure program deliverables meet the highest quality standards. Balancing competing priorities across multiple customers and projects, conducting and coordinating meetings according to Gong Professional Services methodology, and executing ongoing program planning, discovery, and design workshops are key duties. Providing regular communications to executive leadership, project teams, and customers, identifying, documenting, and leading mitigation efforts for program risks, and challenging/advising teams and client expectations for successful program delivery are also responsibilities. Gathering ongoing requirements, issuing change orders, facilitating the identification, internal communication, and remediation of product issues, and ideating/developing new program deliverables to improve existing team processes are expected. Contributions to practice development initiatives that accelerate organizational and team growth within Professional Services are also part of the role.
