Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in inside sales within the hotels/hospitality industry. A strong track record of managing senior sales teams, the ability to build and manage KPIs, and proficiency in Salesforce CRM are essential. The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, passionate, high-energy, solution-minded, self-motivated, and comfortable communicating with veteran sales managers and commercial leadership.
The Sales Director will act as a player-coach, contributing to acquisition goals while managing and growing a team of Sales Managers to exceed new business quotas. Responsibilities include scaling the independent hotel property business through prospecting, pitching, nurturing, and closing new business, as well as implementing coaching and management practices. This role involves scaling outbound sales efforts, increasing pitch efficiency, developing internal cross-departmental relationships, and establishing best practices in sales processes. The Director will conduct weekly 1:1s and team meetings, assist with sales hiring and training, manage the full employee life cycle, and identify improvements for the sales process and tools.
