About the Role

PolicyMe is seeking a strategic and execution-driven Director of Partnerships to join its growing team. This high-impact role involves owning relationships with key insurance and distribution partners, driving the delivery of partner-linked strategic projects, and contributing to the development of the internal operating model.

This is not a sales role; it requires strong cross-functional collaboration, sound judgment, and the ability to influence without authority. The Director of Partnerships will report to the VP of Business Operations and work closely with PolicyMe leadership.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead day-to-day engagement with key strategic partners, including planning, operations, and communication.
  • Represent PolicyMe in high-stakes partner meetings with executive presence and discretion.
  • Ensure successful delivery of partnership obligations and roadmap initiatives.
  • Guide new partner activations from contract to launch in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Translate partner feedback and needs into internal priorities and actions.

Business Operations & Strategic Projects (~20%)

  • Support the VP of Business Operations on broader org-wide initiatives (e.g., compliance, privacy, legal, enterprise risk).
  • Contribute to partner systems and enablement playbooks.
  • Own special projects and provide leverage across business priorities as needed.

What We Are Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience in partnerships, strategic operations, consulting, or similar roles.
  • Proven ability to manage complex partner relationships with empathy and precision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong executive presence.
  • Exceptionally organized with a knack for documentation and follow-through.
  • Politically aware and emotionally intelligent; knows how to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
  • Curious, adaptable, and solutions-oriented.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and taking initiative.
  • Experience in insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries is considered an asset.
  • Experience managing enterprise partner activations.
  • Familiarity with compliance, privacy, or legal coordination is considered an asset.
  • Experience in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments is considered an asset.
