Requirements

Candidates should possess a high school diploma, with a bachelor's degree preferred, or a comparable combination of education and experience. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a customer call center, is required. Proficiency in PC skills, including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer, along with strong typing and multitasking abilities across multiple systems, is essential. French/English bilingualism with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages is preferred. Candidates must have reliable internet service with a hardwire connection and a private, distraction-free workspace.

Responsibilities

The Customer Service Representative will provide support to customers by processing orders, requests for pricing, product availability, order status, delivery, billing questions, returns, and credits. They will resolve customer complaints and concerns, aiming for first contact resolution, and answer product or service inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and facilitate communication for technical assistance. Responsibilities also include partnering with internal departments and suppliers to find solutions, adhering to established performance metrics, and assisting in increasing revenue by offering alternative products. The role involves making recommendations for process improvements and maintaining composure and a positive demeanor during difficult interactions.
