Candidates should have over 15 years of experience driving revenue growth and leading go-to-market efforts for a technology-focused organization in the region. A proven track record in leading enterprise-level consultative solution sales and business development, with a strong understanding of regional GTM strategy, customer success, and resource allocation, is required. Experience partnering with consulting firms, systems integrators, and enterprise clients, including pitching, negotiation, and closing deals, is essential. A well-established network of senior-level contacts across sectors and excellent communication and leadership skills are necessary. Comfort working in a matrixed environment and a self-starter, entrepreneurial mindset are important. Experience in AI or a related industry is highly desirable.
The Country Manager will drive year-over-year revenue growth and develop/execute customer and partner acquisition strategies. They will lead a go-to-market growth strategy and sales plan for the country, coordinate anchor partnerships, and provide sales and operational leadership to cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include collaborating with Marketing, Product, and Engineering, acting as the primary representative of Cohere in the local market, and representing the company at industry events. The role involves managing and nurturing relationships with enterprise clients and partners, identifying new business opportunities, negotiating and closing deals, and collaborating with global teams on best practices for project implementations. Analyzing and reporting on local market trends, opportunities, client needs, and competitor activities is also a key duty.
