The Opportunity

This position is located in Arequipa in the Respiratory line of the Established Pharmaceuticals Products division. We are committed to bringing the benefits of our trusted medicines to more people in the world's fastest-growing countries. Our broad portfolio of differentiated, high-quality branded generic medicines spans multiple therapeutic areas, including gastroenterology, women's health, cardiometabolics, pain management/central nervous system, and respiratory.

As a Consultant, you will be responsible for building the relational nexus between the company and the Medical body of various health institutions such as Hospitals, Clinics, and Private Consultations, among others, making field visits to doctors of different specialties, generating value for the medical body through the promotion of new products, delivering information and medical samples of the various pharmaceutical products.

What You Will Do

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the environment, market, and customer profile of the assigned area to identify opportunities and differentiating actions.
  • Organize and plan the weekly work plan optimally.
  • Effectively promote the division's products to the target physicians under your responsibility.
  • Implement and comply with the strategies and activities of the promotional cycle.
  • Control and properly deliver medical samples and promotional material, as well as register daily visits, in strict compliance with current procedures.
  • Optimize the use of work tools (iPAD, cell phone, visuals, ACERCA, emailings, etc.).
  • Efficiently and effectively organize attendance at face-to-face and virtual events held by the division as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Promote and control stock rotation and sales in Inretail, horizontal pharmacies, and Neosalud.
  • Comply with company training and certifications in a timely manner.
  • Comply with the budget and marketing activities.
  • Timely comply with expense reporting processes or any other that applies to your role, on the company's official platforms.
  • Comply with company guidelines, policies, and processes such as Compliance, accounting, or others.

Required Qualifications

  • Technical and/or university studies completed or incomplete, preferably related to Health.
  • Desirable experience of 2 years in medical promotion.
  • Desirable studies in sales.
  • Desirable health training.
  • Must reside in areas close to the city of Arequipa.
  • Basic Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Desirable basic English language skills.
