Candidates should possess extensive experience with programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and a strong understanding of inspection processes, including the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and symbols, specifically GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
The CMM Programmer will be responsible for supporting Inspection Process Development, CMM Programming, and providing support to the production inspection staff in the operation of the CMM, performing precise dimensional inspections, analyzing measurement data to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, conducting capability studies and Gauge R&R, and troubleshooting CMM programs to resolve measurement issues.
