Requirements

The Technical Control Engineer requires a minimum of 3 years of industrial controls experience, a basic understanding of Ladder Logic, Allen Bradley RSLogix 5000, RSLogix 500, and FactoryTalk View software, and strong electrical and mechanical aptitude. Experience with programming and troubleshooting robots such as ABB or Fanuc, along with knowledge of advanced sensor programming, is also required.

Responsibilities

The Technical Control Engineer will demonstrate knowledge of plant and process safety rules, receive and prioritize incoming help requests from end-users through various channels, develop help sheets and knowledge base articles, test fixes, perform post-resolution follow-ups, and conduct backups and trend analysis. They will also assist site teams with troubleshooting advanced electro-mechanical issues remotely, respond to equipment downtime issues, train plant electricians, and perform other duties as assigned.
