The Associate Medical Director provides medical oversight for clinical trials, ensuring adherence to SOPs, client directives, GCP, and regulatory requirements. They attend and present at meetings, offer medical consultation to clients and project teams, and support business development. Responsibilities include medical review of serious adverse events, periodic safety reports, and other client deliverables, as well as monitoring safety variables, discussing medical concerns with investigators, and managing signal detection activities for marketed products.
