Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree is required, along with at least 1 year of sales experience or equivalent success in medical sales, B2B technical sales, or military service. Candidates should have an established client base in the primary care market or knowledge of ACOs, IDNs, and Health Systems. Essential skills include being results-driven, customer-focused, committed, and able to plan and align work effectively. Strong cross-functional communication and the ability to instill trust are necessary. Candidates must reside within their assigned geography or a reasonable distance in major metro market areas, possess a goal-oriented mindset, be coachable, have good communication and presentation skills, be proficient with business software and virtual communication tools, and hold a valid driver's license with a good driving record. The ability to travel within the assigned territory, including overnight stays for meetings, is also required. Preferred qualifications include a track record of success in medical or B2B sales or military service, and experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM solutions.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Sales Consultant will persuasively sell the concept of using diagnostic tests to targeted physicians and markets, aiming to develop and grow market share based on established sales goals. Responsibilities include training and educating medical office staff on ordering and interpreting test results, and working with laboratory counterparts to identify key targets and secure appointments for product presentations. The role involves territory ownership, including target identification, account planning, accurate sales forecasting, and achieving sales results. Additionally, the consultant may support Business Development Executives with large system implementations and initiatives to achieve area health economic sales goals.
