Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of sales experience or other applicable commercial experience, and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. They are required to be willing to travel 80% of the time (4 days in the field) and have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SalesForce.com.
The Account Executive will manage the entire lifecycle of new business opportunities, partnering with customer decision-makers to enhance their performance using the Abbott Core Diagnostics product portfolio. They will drive market share growth, collaborate with the Enterprise Account Manager to secure business in larger hospital systems, gain understanding of client goals, and manage the renewal process to ensure customer retention and satisfaction. Additionally, they will identify and quantify the impact of Abbott solutions and bring new ideas forward to drive innovation within the organization.
