Preferred experience includes a new business or ‘hunter’ type sales background, along with exceptional analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and persuasive communication abilities, the ability to work in a team, self-motivation, bias for action, negotiation skills, and professional presentation skills are also necessary. Willingness to travel is required.
The Chemical Account Manager will develop and execute strategic and tactical sales plans to drive growth in the Analytical Reagents, BioReagents, and Discovery Chemicals businesses within the assigned territory. They will conduct sales activities, represent the company’s value proposition, provide market intelligence, coordinate with colleagues and distribution teams, and execute joint calls with distribution representatives to provide sales and product training. Additionally, the role involves demonstrating Thermo Fisher’s values and contributing to the overall growth of the Chemicals business.
