Candidates must have demonstrated successful experience leading channel management activities for Managed Service Providers (MSP), extensive experience working with channel partners across MSPs, Resellers, and/or distributors, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. A proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding quotas, over 10 years of experience in channel partner management and/or business development with at least 5 years of experience leading people, and proven success hiring and developing a highly engaged and high-performing team are also required. The ideal candidate will possess a network of relationships with channel partners and a deep understanding of building customer-centric partnerships from the ground up with a bias toward action.
The Head of MSP will take ownership of driving substantial growth within the Managed Service Provider (MSP) channel by formulating and executing MSP strategies. This role involves acting as a trusted advisor to partners, forging robust professional relationships, and identifying opportunities for strategic growth plans. Responsibilities include guiding the identification of programs and strategies that foster partner growth, delivering a suite of scalable, partner-centric, revenue-generating partnerships, and aligning initiatives with 1Password's overarching objectives. Additionally, the role requires translating initiative requirements into actionable features, leading and aligning multiple teams across sales, marketing, business development, product marketing, and customer support, and adeptly navigating strategic and complex partnerships to facilitate co-selling and ensure cross-functional coordination.
