The Capability Manager should have experience overseeing a talent pool of approximately 50-70 people within a Chapter Stream. They must report to the Chapter Area Manager (CAM) and collaborate with Chapter Stream Leads (CSLs), Tribe Leads, Growth Managers, and the People Office. Experience in managing bench-related risks, ensuring skills alignment with project demands, and contributing to staffing discussions is required. Additionally, the role requires experience in career development, performance management including 1:1s, evaluations, PIPs, and salary discussions, employee engagement initiatives, conflict resolution, and participation in recruitment processes. Responsibilities also include maintaining HR data and systems, adhering to governance processes, providing reporting and insights, managing labor costs and budgets, and optimizing workflows.
The Capability Manager will ensure integrated workforce management, delivery readiness, and employee engagement by anticipating and managing bench risks, identifying available employees, and ensuring efficient allocation across projects. They will align development and skills mapping with upcoming project demands, contribute to staffing discussions, and provide feedback on delivery impact and performance gaps. The manager will also mentor employees through development plans, lead the performance lifecycle, monitor engagement feedback, mediate conflicts, participate in hiring, act as a company ambassador, maintain HR records, ensure process compliance, provide reports on team dynamics, manage budgets responsibly, and continuously improve team workflows and processes. Key accountabilities include managing attrition levels and improving employee engagement scores.
