Responsibilities

  • Support the development of business and assortment strategies for the assigned account, including supporting franchise and product-line direction for both external partners and internal cross-functional teams, aligning with financial goals
  • Provide ongoing support to the partner through weekly trade reviews and quarterly planning to drive sales performance and identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with integrated retail teams and cross-functional partners (e.g., The Disney Store teams, Licensing, Franchise, Product Development, Retail Marketing) to ensure alignment and successful execution of plans
  • Develop and update departmental strategies by leveraging financial, consumer, and product trend insights to align with divisional goals and overall retail vision
  • Track retail and consumer trends to inform account strategies, discover innovative opportunities, and support growth
  • Use inventory data to identify opportunities and enhance performance
  • Drive account initiatives by collaborating with partners to achieve financial goals, offering guidance on merchandising, marketing, and product management
  • Collaborate on product assortments by working with internal teams to present quarterly assortments to account buyers, ensuring alignment with market demand and retail objectives
  • Oversee the full P&L for assigned accounts, partnering with finance to drive profitability and performance
  • Present quarterly finance forecasts to senior management and cross-functional teams
  • Support partner in managing inventory planning, purchasing, and merchandising to optimize stock levels and minimize overstock risks
  • Partner with marketing teams to manage account-specific campaigns and secure necessary approvals
  • Oversee product photography, copy, and content for assigned accounts on retailer websites
  • Conduct gap analysis to uncover business opportunities and guide assortment and planning decisions
