Candidates should possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a growth mindset, a highly motivated self-starter attitude with a passion for cold calling and driving results, strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and exceptional organizational skills. Enthusiasm for pursuing a career in sales and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment are essential. Experience in sales, particularly SaaS or tech sales, familiarity with sales performance metrics and data-driven selling, and knowledge of outbound prospecting tools like Zoominfo, HubSpot, or similar platforms are considered nice to have.
The Business Development Representative will leverage tools and tech to identify potential clients and key decision-makers, build targeted prospect lists, and proactively engage prospects through strategic outbound calls, personalized emails, and social media outreach. They will conduct discovery calls to convert prospects into sales-qualified leads (SQLs) and book meetings for Account Executives, nurture and engage with key accounts through relevant social media channels, and track all activities, maintain detailed notes, and ensure accurate data entry in the CRM (HubSpot). The role also requires staying up-to-date on Cardata’s products and services to effectively communicate value to prospects.
