Candidates should possess at least one year of experience in a business development role, with SaaS experience being preferred. They should demonstrate excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, both internally and externally, and have a proven track record of successfully hunting new business leads and scheduling qualified meetings. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required, and the role is quota-carrying, requiring the ability to meet or exceed quota reliably.
The Business Development Representative will develop a pipeline by researching, cold calling, and executing email campaign strategies, learn a multifaceted product suite and drive sales across North America, Europe, and Latin America, qualify inbound opportunities and develop a strong pipeline for Account Executives, meet monthly and quarterly qualified pipeline goals, log all activities in salesforce and hubspot, and validate/correct contact data within the CRM. They will also coordinate lead processing with marketing, manage pre and post-conference outreach, provide market intel, work with Account Executives to develop strategic attack plans, participate in business events, and occasionally travel up to 10%. Finally, they will bring a warm and friendly presence, demonstrating self-starters, hunger, and a proactive questioning approach.
