Position Overview

Irth Solutions is seeking an energized and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. Your role will be instrumental in equipping the people who keep our world running safely and efficiently by promoting our software solutions and generating qualified leads for our Account Executives.

Irth Solutions delivers resilient, risk-reducing solutions for critical infrastructure in utilities, renewable energy, midstream, telecom, and more. Our vision integrates business intelligence, analytics, and geospatial data to provide 360-degree situational awareness for proactive risk management and workforce efficiency. We also assist land developers in reducing risk and improving efficiency in right-of-way acquisition and land use agreement management.

This is a remote-based role with minimal travel required. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, competitive, curious, and comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

  • Develop pipeline through research, cold calling, and executing email campaign strategies.
  • Gain a deep understanding of our multifaceted product suite and drive sales across North America, Europe, and Latin America.
  • Qualify inbound opportunities and develop a strong pipeline for Account Executives.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly qualified pipeline goals.
  • Log all activities accurately in Salesforce and HubSpot, and validate/correct contact data within the CRM.
  • Coordinate lead processing with support from Marketing for all campaigns and conferences.
  • Manage pre and post-conference/webinar outreach for existing and new customers.
  • Provide market intelligence based on gathered information.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to develop and execute strategic attack plans for new logos.
  • Participate in required business events, conferences, trade shows, and seminars.
  • Be the first impression of our company – bring a warm, friendly presence, be a self-starter, driven, hungry, and willing to ask questions.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a business development role.
  • SaaS experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in hunting new business leads and scheduling qualified meetings.
  • Consistently exhibit excellent organization, time management, and oral and written communication skills, both internally and externally.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.
  • This is a quota-carrying position; the candidate must be able to meet or exceed quota reliably.
  • Ability to understand and convey the benefits of Irth offerings.
  • Experience in SaaS is a must; specific domain experience in work management or field service software is a bonus.
  • Comfortable in various settings, from independent research to making discovery calls and promoting events.
  • Ability to travel occasionally (typically 10%).
