  • Compensation: $54K base / $36K variable = $90K (uncapped) OTE

As an Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Fleetio, you will be responsible for making the first impression with prospective customers. You will leverage tools like ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, and Salesforce to identify, engage, and qualify potential clients. Your role will involve partnering with Account Executives by creating a pipeline of opportunities, scheduling meetings, and shadowing demos. This position is ideal for individuals who are highly motivated, comfortable with cold outreach, and seeking to enter the fast-paced world of software sales.

Your primary responsibility will be sourcing, identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers to drive Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) growth. Your Impact

  • Manage outbound lead generation for the Mid-Market territory.
  • Research and contact prospective customers via cold calling, emailing, social media, etc., to understand their business needs and demonstrate how Fleetio can help them achieve their goals.
  • Actively source new leads and create detailed lead profiles within our CRM (Salesforce).
  • Qualify prospect accounts and schedule meetings and demos for our Account Executives.
  • Assist in strategic initiatives to generate qualified sales opportunities for Fleetio.
  • Develop and refine skills that will contribute to your success as an Outbound SDR and are transferable to future growth opportunities (e.g., Lead SDR, Account Executive).

Your Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in outbound sales, preferably as an SDR or AE.
  • Self-motivated with an outstanding work ethic.
  • Coachable and eager to learn.
  • Team player mentality.
  • Resilient, fearless, and persistent.
  • Problem-solver with strong attention to detail.
  • SaaS experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with the Fleetio tech stack (Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Slack) is a plus.
