The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a crucial role in identifying and creating new qualified opportunities for our senior sales team. This position involves managing inbound leads from various marketing campaigns and sponsored events. Our SDR team is a vital component of our revenue organization, driving the next phase of company growth.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success, demonstrating a strong work ethic, self-discipline, and excellent time management skills. In addition to generating new business, responsibilities include maintaining SFDC and Outreach hygiene, managing the daily pipeline to ensure MQLs are zeroed out daily, and collaborating with marketing to target quality leads. Key Responsibilities

  • Bring a world-class solution to market and serve as the initial point of contact for AuditBoard.
  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel AuditBoard’s growth.
  • Discover and engage new leads using tools such as Outreach, Qualified, Orum, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and more.
  • Manage your lead pipeline, meet target numbers, and help maintain opportunity hygiene.
  • Support marketing efforts by assisting in demand-generation campaigns.
  • Achieve or exceed weekly and monthly metrics, including sales activities, opportunity generation, qualified leads, and new contacts prospected.

Attributes for a Successful Candidate

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS).
  • Required: 1+ years of prior inbound/outbound sales experience within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Required: Demonstrated cold calling and LinkedIn prospecting skills.
  • Preferred: Audit or Accounting background.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-energy, ever-changing environment.
  • Possess a "go-getter" attitude, turning "No!" into "Yes!".
  • Coachability: Open to feedback and direction for learning and growth.
  • Proficiency with platforms like SalesForce, LinkedIn, Orum, and Outreach (training provided if not previously used).
  • Committed to lifelong learning and continuous personal and professional development.
