Requirements

  • Remote-friendly only within Boston or Greater Boston and San Diego
  • Full-Time employment
  • 1+ year of prior experience as a BDR in a SaaS environment
  • Exceptional customer curiosity: Genuine interest in clients, their goals, and science communication pain points
  • A continuous improvement approach: Growth mindset, open to coaching and feedback
  • A self-starter attitude: Self-motivated, resourceful, and willing to hustle
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work during EST business hours
  • A bachelor of Science degree or equivalent is a plus (e.g., within the fields of life science including biology, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, biochemistry, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Prospect new leads (outbound) and create amazing first impressions with potential customers and partners
  • Follow up and qualify inbound requests via telephone and email
  • Organize, categorize, and prioritize sales leads in CRM
  • Measure lead conversion and performance against quota
  • Become an expert in BioRender’s software features, benefits, and applications
  • Leverage prospecting tools to research companies and identify key stakeholders
  • Develop customized pitches for different target accounts and personas
  • Work with Account Executives to drive outbound prospecting activities (cold calling, emailing, value proposition communication)
  • Work with field marketing and sales teams to drive attendance at BioRender events
