Position Overview

Cars Commerce is seeking a driven sales professional to develop new accounts and sell products and/or services to customers. This role involves transitioning accounts to an Account Executive for ongoing service and growth. You will be responsible for pursuing sales leads within an assigned territory, responding to customer inquiries, and guiding clients on appropriate product and service offerings. You may also collaborate with the Account Executive sales team to achieve sales goals and revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new accounts and sell products/services.
  • Transition accounts to Account Executives for ongoing service and growth.
  • Pursue sales leads within an assigned territory (geographic area, industry, or product/service segment).
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide guidance on appropriate products/services.
  • Collaborate with the Account Executive sales team to achieve sales goals and revenue targets.
  • Effectively communicate across multiple internal channels.
  • Execute sales strategy and identify new opportunities/leads.
  • Utilize sales techniques effectively and possess a working understanding of company products/services.
  • Travel once per quarter to assigned territory and prospects.
  • Operate with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of successful sales experience; software or ad-tech sales is ideal.
  • Demonstrated consistent quota attainment track record with a continuous desire to win.
  • Strong business acumen with a desire to drive results.
  • Sales-focused mindset with a bias towards action.
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills; accountable for key metrics.
  • Proven ability to build a sales pipeline through hunting, prospecting, cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
  • Strong communication skills over the phone, in person, and via video conferencing.
  • Self-driven with the ability to consistently contact a large prospect base.
  • Effectively operate in both short and long sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to leverage the extended team to succeed.
