Requirements

Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, petroleum, or environmental) or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience or equivalent work experience providing exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts. Previous experience as a Business Development Specialist in a related industry is required, alongside proficiency in integrated business management and CRM software such as NetSuite and Salesforce, and advanced knowledge of business development, marketing strategies, and brand expansion.

Responsibilities

The Business Development Specialist will analyze business operations to drive sustained growth, monitor revenue streams and identify opportunities to increase profitability, evaluate and improve sales, marketing, and branding strategies, perform competitor analysis to gain an increased market share and develop new lines of business, develop client relationships and strengthen industry partnerships, and negotiate and close business deals that promote sustained revenue. They will also contribute to the company’s long-term success by establishing effective networks and implementing business plans, while demonstrating strategic vision, foresight, mentorship, and influential leadership skills.
