Responsibilities

  • Partner with SVP Product Analytics and personal and commercial Product Leaderships to develop and understand corporate and business goals
  • Partner with SVP Product Analytics to develop sales strategies and trainings for personal and commercial sales staff and leaderships in order to meet company’s sales plans and profitability
  • Partner with SVP Product Analytics and Sales Directors of Personal Lines to establish sales objectives and minimum performance criteria for Personal Lines Sales Staff, and to coordinate sales and service efforts to achieve maximum results
  • Partner with the SVP Product Analytics and VP Commercial Sales to establish sales objectives and minimum performance criteria for Commercial Sales Staff, and to coordinate sales and service efforts to achieve maximum results
  • Partner with SVP Product Analytics and Product Teams to develop personal and commercial sales metrics, track results, communicate and enforce accountabilities and commitments by sales teams and leadership
  • Provide coaching for sales staffs to improve their efficiency and sales effectiveness
  • Partner with Product Team and Sales Leaderships to identify profitable target marketing areas, develop and execute detailed marketing plans
  • Lead the Marketing Team to support personal lines sales team and agencies
  • Lead the Marketing Team to manage on-going projects among product, marketing, and sales teams
  • Lead the Marketing Team to ensure compliance with agency appointments and licensing
  • Lead the Marketing Team to ensure compliance with corporate licensing
  • Lead the Marketing to support personal lines product form filings
  • Partner with Underwriting regarding any underwriting issues with agents
  • Partner with Claims regarding any claims underwriting alerts or notable trends
  • Actively support Personal Lines and Commercial Sales Staff recruiting, orientation and sales training programs
  • Attend and participate in agent conventions
  • Provide senior leadership with regular market assessment; recommend and implement corrective actions to improve sales performance results
  • Navigate within the organization to resolve issues and answer questions; identify when collaboration with other affected departments’ staff is needed and solicit input from them to make product decisions
  • Be knowledgeable of underwriting guidelines and policy coverage language
  • Stay abreast of industry knowledge and trends to gain insight for continuous improvement of product underwriting, and marketing strategies
  • Track competitor rate filings and communicate with leaderships and sales teams
  • Responsible for top and bottom-line results for personal and commercial products
  • Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
