Responsibilities

  • Lead Biotech Business Development Leads for Bioanalytical services to drive authorizations and revenue growth with existing and new Biotech accounts
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the Biotech Business Development team and targeted accounts within the bioanalytical market, including delivering a compelling value proposition
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, including senior leaders in Procurement, R&D, and Clinical Development; support the BD team in advancing relationships
  • Define and drive revenue generation opportunities to increase market penetration with BD team and Biotech accounts; develop strategies for current and new accounts; assess client satisfaction and recommend improvements; ensure achievement of sales goals
  • Partner with functions to develop a strategic proposal response process, including templates, presentation materials, and methodology; review key proposals to refine sales pitches and improve win rates
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and lead a high-impact team of Biotech business development leads; foster a collaborative environment; remove barriers; build tools and processes; establish performance expectations; monitor progress and implement corrective actions
