Requirements

Candidates should possess 5+ years of professional experience as a pre-sales technical resource in an enterprise software company, along with 3+ years of experience configuring, implementing, or managing software, preferably in identity and access management. Desirable experience includes running an IGA program, familiarity with IT audit functions, regulatory frameworks (SOX, HIPAA, NERC-CIP, GDPR, CCPAS), and proficiency with JSON APIs, XML, LDAP, Active Directory, EntraID, ERP platforms, IaaS providers (AWS and Azure), and SQL. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a working knowledge of technical infrastructure, and high EQ are also required.

Responsibilities

The Advisory Solution Consultant will partner with sales teams to support SailPoint’s growth objectives by applying technical abilities and business acumen. They will participate in demos, training, and presentations, handle initial demos and discussions, pitch to Account Executives, navigate internal relationships, coordinate with AEs, and assist in developing RFP responses. The role also involves contributing to technical collateral, growing familiarity with IT audit functions, speaking at conferences, proactively networking, articulating the business value of SailPoint, and communicating at the business level with clients outside of IT. Finally, the consultant will actively participate in the sales process, discover and understand customer requirements, present SailPoint solutions, and provide feedback to Product Management.
