Candidates should possess at least 3 years of experience in a quota-carrying role, demonstrating a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas, typically measured by metrics like CARR or P&L targets. They should also have strategic account planning and execution skills, along with demonstrated relationship-building abilities with VP or C-Level executives, and be based in the specified territory.
As an Account Partner, the individual will contribute to team retention, growth, and customer satisfaction goals, retain and grow existing accounts, increase new business logos, develop and execute territory/account/opportunity sales strategies, manage the entire sales process from lead generation through contract negotiation/execution to delivery handoff, analyze customer transition visions and relate them to Veeva’s value propositions/solutions, and work both independently and cohesively within a team environment, while also representing the company at industry associations and events and reporting on opportunities, notes, contacts, and accounts via Veeva’s CRM.
