Responsibilities

  • Develop customer accounts by proactively gathering and reviewing information to identify high-level sales opportunities
  • Achieve customer satisfaction, revenue generation within existing assignments, and long-term account goals aligned with Trader’s vision
  • Prepare business presentations, complete corporate profiles, and design/implement sales strategies
  • Prepare for customer calls, conduct needs assessments, and design proposals to address specific customer needs and maximize business potential
  • Discuss advertising needs with customers, promote relevant Trader products/services tied to customer business objectives, and sell on value
  • Demonstrate continued personal concern for customers to reinforce Trader’s value
  • Handle all client communications, conflict resolution, compliance on deliverables/revenue, and respond to needs with urgency while maintaining excellent relations
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Trader products, market trends, competitors, and developments
  • Complete weekly sales planner for territory penetration and existing client revenue maintenance; proactively call on accounts and schedule sales calls
  • Initiate post-sales activities to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to market strategy by monitoring competitors and client reactions; recommend new solutions/services
  • Spend most time out of office penetrating, controlling, and retaining accounts
  • Meet sales targets and objectives for assigned client base
  • Maintain sufficient customer records for proper territory organization and account management
