The Account Manager will serve as a trusted partner and primary contact for Financial Advisors, strategically engaging and retaining clients by understanding their needs. They will counsel advisors on best practices to optimize SmartAsset campaigns and lead high-priority client escalation calls, including negotiations. The role involves maximizing revenue by selling additional products and services and managing revenue in a growing book of business, utilizing Tableau and other sales tools to uncover new business opportunities. The Account Manager will represent the AM business in strategic meetings and provide feedback to the leadership team. They will liaise with Account Executive and Advisor Support teams, and collaborate with sales operations, marketing, and product teams to share advisor insights and drive adoption of new tools and features. Maintaining accurate Salesforce records for Advisor accounts, assisting with Outreach Automation Tool (OAT) setup and maintenance, investigating billing discrepancies, and overseeing pre-activation processes including compliance approvals and onboarding are key operational duties. Actioning feedback from the Concierge team to improve engagement is also part of the role.
