Requirements

Candidates must possess a current Florida 2-20 License (or state equivalent), as required by the State Department of Insurance, and be willing to obtain all required licenses within their first 90 days of employment. A college degree is preferred, and professional designations such as CPCU or CIC are considered a plus, along with 3+ years of experience in personal insurance, including knowledge of insurance company contracts and guidelines, proprietary insurer systems, and claim knowledge.

Responsibilities

The Relationship Manager will serve as the primary contact for clients, providing world-class client service, technical expertise, and proactive risk management. They will proactively address client needs, review client exposures and underwriting memos, advise clients on complex risk exposures, conduct audits, and provide proactive direction to resolve claims. The role involves creating and presenting renewal proposals, conducting annual interactive reviews, understanding and leveraging the firm’s holistic platform, cultivating relationships with insurance company partners, maintaining accuracy and timeliness in client interactions, serving as a market placement specialist, and staying updated on industry offerings to make proactive recommendations to clients. Additionally, the Relationship Manager will look for opportunities to improve the firm, business segment, and processes, and bring issues and discrepancies to the attention of appropriate leadership.
