The role requires diligence and organizational skills for long sales cycles, the ability to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment, and a passion for being an inclusive teammate. Prior experience with SQL or willingness to learn is necessary, and experience in analytics, ETL, BI, or open-sourced software, especially with dbt, will make candidates stand out. The candidate must also be located in Sydney.
The Account Executive will manage and grow the customer base throughout Sydney, NSW, identifying new business opportunities with prospects and growth opportunities within existing clients. Responsibilities include building, managing, and closing a pipeline of companies that would benefit from dbt Cloud, deepening the dbt Cloud footprint in existing accounts, and engaging with technology partners to optimize reach in the region. The role also involves contributing to team projects to develop the sales process, working with product on the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap, and focusing on pipeline generation.
