Candidates should have over 10 years of technical, customer-facing experience, ideally at the Principal SE level or equivalent, working with large enterprise accounts. Strong knowledge of SQL, APIs, networking, security, identity management, and compliance is required. Experience managing complex, long-cycle, multi-stakeholder deals and a proven ability to design and run enterprise-grade POCs are essential. Executive presence and leadership skills are also necessary.
The Senior Sales Engineer will build strong relationships with stakeholders from CDOs to data engineers, understanding their problems and acting as a trusted advisor for data teams. They will evangelize Atlan and agile data culture principles, provide customers with information for decision-making through customized demos, trials, and POCs, and gather customer feedback to inform the product roadmap. This role involves expanding Atlan's presence within major global accounts and mentoring peers.
