Requirements

Candidates must have 10+ years of full cycle sales experience, with a preference for cloud, databases, business intelligence software, data warehousing, and SaaS. Proven ability to independently develop, manage, and close new client relationships at the CxO level in Public Sector organizations is essential. Extensive and reliable networks with key decision-makers in the Public Sector and with key partners are required, along with experience building relationships with Economic Buyers and Executive Sponsors. Deep knowledge of how Public Sector organizations scout, select, procure, and implement innovative technology solutions is necessary. A proven track record of building and expanding substantial business with Public Sector clients ($3m+ ARR) and mastery of a solution-based selling approach with experience managing complex sales processes are required. The ideal candidate is a proactive, independent thinker with high energy and a positive attitude, possessing drive, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills are also required, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

The Account Executive will develop strategic relationships, identify, and close new business opportunities within Public Sector organizations at the state level. They will serve as a trusted advisor to customers at senior levels and drive thought leadership by understanding their existing and future IT roadmaps to promote the Snowflake solution. The role involves challenging the customer's status quo regarding current operations, proposing solutions that align with digital transformation roadmaps, and collaborating with marketing and partners to develop revenue growth plans. The Account Executive will master a solution-based approach to selling and manage complex sales processes. All employees are expected to adhere to Snowflake's confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data and abide by the company's data security plan.
