Candidates must possess at least 7 years of technology solution-based selling experience, including SaaS, Unified Communications, Cloud applications, VoIP, and telephony at an Enterprise Level. Experience selling to State, Local, Higher Education, and Healthcare verticals is required, along with a demonstrated sales record of obtaining or exceeding quota. Strong skills in conducting presentations, online web demos, adhering to a sales process, prospecting, engaging, and acquiring net new logos are essential. Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to convey and relate ideas, an entrepreneurial flare for quick learning and adaptation, and a vibrant, energetic attitude are also necessary. A BS degree is preferred, and 15-25% travel in the territory is expected.
The Senior Account Executive will drive sales within the SLED segment, focusing on State & Local Government, Higher Education, and K12 organizations above 400 employees. This role involves technology field sales in a greenfield space, utilizing remote resources for engineering, marketing, and business development. Responsibilities include partnering with regional VARs to identify, engage, and deliver new customers, owning strategy around funnel, pipeline, and forecasting, and managing the go-to-market strategy for the assigned territory. The executive will also lead complex sales cycles and negotiate win-win agreements based on value-based selling.
