Candidates should possess at least 7 years of SLED Security Sales experience specifically selling into State, Local, and Government Accounts within the New York area, with a focus on Security (SIEM & Observability) and IT Personsas (CISO/CIO’s). They should have experience working with at least one earlier-stage start-up organization (under 1000 employees) or demonstrate entrepreneurial skills, a proven track record of landing and expanding 7-figure deals, and success in selling to SLED, including developing at least one new logo from scratch. Furthermore, candidates should be proficient in selling through a channel-led motion and capable of creating demand within a territory while selling un-budgeted solutions, along with familiarity with MEDDIC methodology.
As a Regional Sales Manager, New York (SLED), the individual will develop a business plan to overachieve sales goals, manage and maintain the entire sales ecosystem from lead generation to closing, assist customers in understanding the value of Cribl during the sales process, articulate the value proposition to various organizational levels, accurately forecast sales and meet targets, and potentially handle stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties.
