What You'll Do

Huntress is expanding its Mid-Market team and seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive net-new business. In this quota-carrying role, you will:

  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams, including SDRs for prospecting and Customer Account Management for relationship growth.
  • Manage the full sales cycle for mid-market prospects, from information gathering and pricing to closing deals.
  • Educate partners through a value-based, solution-oriented sales process, focusing on the product's suitability for the prospect.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Operations, Product Management, and Account Management to ensure seamless implementation and account growth.
  • Maintain accurate records and forecasting within the CRM system.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales goals and quarterly revenue targets by qualifying and closing net-new opportunities.
  • Creatively source new prospects and position Huntress' offerings to meet their specific needs, acting as a trusted advisor and industry expert.
  • Stay current on competitor offerings, identifying their strengths and vulnerabilities.
  • Translate client feedback into actionable strategies to drive new business and address competitive risks.
  • Influence client decisions and advocate for client needs to negotiate win-win solutions.
  • Work closely and communicate effectively with various functional teams.
  • Maintain accurate records by entering, updating, and maintaining daily activity, forecast, and opportunity information in the CRM.

What You Bring To The Team

  • Candidates must be located in one of the following states: KS, MO, IA.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated success in a strategic sales position.
  • 2+ years of full-cycle sales experience at a software or technology company.
  • Strong track record of driving revenue, creating new business, and delivering a customer-centered experience.
  • Comfort working within and maintaining accurate records and forecasting within a CRM system.
  • Ability to work independently and be highly responsive to clients.
  • Strong presentation and active listening skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and handle changing priorities.
  • Ability to think critically.
