Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and have 5-7 years of relevant experience in research techniques and solutions within Tech & Durables, Consulting, Information, Sales, Analytics, or similar fields. Specific industry experience in Consumer Technical Goods (IT, Telecomm, Consumer Electronics, Home Appliances) is strongly preferred, though CPG/FMCG or Media industry experience may also be considered. A proven track record of delivering commercial targets, experience in scoping and developing proposals, and strong negotiation strategies are essential. The role requires effective senior-level communication, influencing, and presentation skills, a strong client focus, a drive to close deals, result-orientation, and excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, including cross-cultural competence. Strong oral and written communication skills are critical for this collaborative global environment. Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research is a plus, and willingness to travel is required.
The Global Account Director will be responsible for owning client relationships for existing long-term accounts and developing new business opportunities with both existing and new clients. This includes aligning key customer priorities with NIQ's capabilities, identifying and converting opportunities to deepen commercial relationships, driving additional revenue, and surpassing annual regional sales targets. The role involves driving client value through the implementation of NIQ solutions, establishing NIQ as a trusted business partner, and developing sales strategies that include white spots, new business, and cross-selling opportunities. Responsibilities also include taking a leading role in contract negotiations, developing proposals and offers according to NIQ standards, maintaining regular communication and collaboration with regional and local sales associates, and establishing strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, including C-suite level relationships. The Director must demonstrate knowledge of client and market trends by using NIQ data to identify growth opportunities, communicate NIQ thought leadership and innovations, identify potential problems, and propose proactive solutions. Appropriate use of CRM/CIDB for sales forecasts and client financials is also required.
