The Account Executive will focus on closing deals from both inbound and outbound sources. They will manage the full sales cycle for complex products and services, focusing on high-velocity sales while maintaining a consultative approach. This role involves handling upsells and expansions within their portfolio, while also building a supplementary outbound pipeline to meet revenue goals.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5-7 years of sales experience
  • Sales Cycle Management: Proven ability to manage a full sales cycle.
  • Quota Achievement: Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Conversion Rate: Minimum of 30% conversion rate from opportunity to closed deal.
  • CRM Proficiency: Strong proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools.

Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Management & Sales Execution:
    • Close deals from inbound leads, SDR-sourced opportunities, and self-sourced outbound activities.
    • Maintain a high-velocity sales cycle, closing deals efficiently while managing multiple opportunities.
  • Inbound, Outbound, and Upsell Collaboration:
    • Handle the majority of the pipeline from inbound marketing and SDR-generated leads while supplementing with an outbound pipeline you personally build.
    • Manage upsells and expansions within your existing portfolio to drive additional ARR.
  • Consultative Sales Approach:
    • Apply a consultative selling approach to complex products and services, ensuring customers understand the value proposition clearly.
    • Be adept at simplifying technical or complex aspects of the offering for a broad audience.
  • Data and Metrics Tracking:
    • Track and report on key metrics such as conversion rates (maintaining a minimum of 30%) and sales cycle velocity.
    • Regularly review pipeline health to ensure alignment with monthly targets and provide data-driven insights to refine your approach.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration:
    • Work closely with SDRs, marketing, and sales leadership to align your approach with overall company goals.
    • Provide feedback on the quality of leads and top-of-funnel effectiveness.
    • Collaborate with product and operations teams to ensure proper product positioning and messaging.
