Requirements

Candidates should have 1-3 years of sales and/or account management experience with customers in the Australia region, possessing strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills. A strong local network within universities, research institutions, biotech, or fine chemicals in ANZ is preferred, as is an educational background or professional experience in intellectual property, manufacturing, or engineering. Experience in enterprise SaaS sales and managing large volumes of accounts is a plus. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, curious, adaptable, proactive, thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a sense of ownership, and is a team player.

Responsibilities

The Account Executive will drive growth across Australia and New Zealand by acquiring new enterprise and strategic accounts in sectors like biotech, research institutions, fine chemicals, and manufacturing, while also managing a portfolio of existing customers for renewals and expansion. This includes owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, developing relationships with C-level stakeholders, leveraging customer success stories, collaborating with regional teams, improving client IP and R&D workflows, managing the sales funnel with accurate forecasting, conducting onboarding and business reviews, analyzing territory, and consistently exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
