A minimum of five years of related business development experience in environmental services, remediation, waste/hazardous waste transportation & disposal, and industrial cleaning is required. A proven track record of generating new business opportunities in the Environmental Field, strong technical expertise with an extensive understanding of environmental remediation, earthwork, and regulatory compliance, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook are also necessary. A valid Driver's License is required, along with the ability to travel weekly and meet with clients. Candidates must also pass a pre-employment drug screen, alcohol test, and background screening.
The Account Executive will deliver profitable, incremental revenue by developing and managing relationships with assigned accounts and serving as the liaison between corporate offices of top customers and Republic Services. They will drive the sales agenda, develop strategic plans for account growth, and ensure the timely delivery of business information to operations. Responsibilities include expanding service offerings with assigned and target accounts, addressing and resolving issues that impact business relationships, aggressively seeking opportunities and developing new relationships related to environmental remediation, waste disposal, and industrial services. The Account Executive will also work with operations and executive teams to develop business solutions, lead pricing decisions, coordinate responses to RFPs and bids, expand market penetration in private and government sectors, and grow the company's client base.
