Candidates should have 6+ years of field sales experience selling technical solutions and software products into the enterprise market, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives and securing new logos. Demonstrable experience executing enterprise complex sales strategies and tactics within Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Science, and/or AI/ML is required, along with familiarity with a solution-based selling approach, managing complex sales processes, and excellent presentation, listening, organization, and contact management capabilities. The ability to build the product and company, define and execute sales plans, leverage industry knowledge, provide feedback, and independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships is essential. Experience hitting multi-million dollar revenue targets annually is also expected.
The Account Executive will pursue net new business and customer acquisition through creative prospecting, focusing on understanding client requirements. Responsibilities include prospecting, developing, and closing business in a timely manner, becoming an expert on Snowflake's product, conducting discovery calls, customized demos, and presentations, and acting as a trusted advisor by understanding customer IT roadmaps. The role involves landing, adopting, expanding, and deepening sales opportunities, achieving sales quotas, developing regional sales strategies and target prospect lists, and working closely with cross-functional teams such as sales engineering, professional services, marketing, legal, and finance.
