Candidates should have 2-4 years of experience in a media agency, media owner, data provider, or adtech platform, with experience in the programmatic landscape, media trading, data sales, or media buying. Established contacts with traders in agency holding companies and a strong understanding of media planning, buying processes, audience data, and digital ad operations are required. A BA/BS degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, or Business, is preferred, along with excellent communication and organizational skills. Familiarity with DSPs, onboarding platforms, audience tools, and CRM systems like Salesforce is a plus. The role requires willingness to travel within NYC approximately 3 days per week.
The Account Executive will engage with media agencies to develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase revenue through NielsenIQ's Data-as-a-Service solutions. This role involves prospecting, networking, developing new business opportunities, and evangelizing NIQ data assets to drive pipeline. Responsibilities include understanding client needs, tailoring NIQ solutions, generating sales leads, maintaining a sales pipeline, assisting with sales materials and presentations, and acting as a liaison between sales, product, and customer success teams. The individual will also build fluency in NIQ’s offerings and stay current with industry trends in digital media, programmatic buying, and data activation.
