About the Role

As an Account Executive for our Enterprise team, you will be instrumental in promoting Sardine's value proposition to major clients. This individual contributor role, reporting directly to the Head of Global Sales, involves building a qualified pipeline, developing sales strategies, and closing deals with prestigious US banks, Fortune 1000 companies, and other large enterprises. We are seeking a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record and an established network within the Fraud and Financial Services industries, particularly with large Banks and Fortune 1000 corporations.


Responsibilities

  • Cultivate relationships with executives across Business, Technology, Risk, and Compliance departments to increase awareness of Sardine's brand and value proposition.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to thoroughly understand potential clients' challenges, initiatives, existing technology stacks, and strategic priorities.
  • Establish credibility, trust, and thought leadership in the domains of Digital Transformation, Digital Identity, Compliance, and Fraud.
  • Develop deep expertise in Sardine's product offering, highlighting its composable nature and creatively proposing solutions that address clients' business and technology challenges.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, including:
    • Collaborating with the Growth team and BDRs on targeted outbound strategies.
    • Qualifying sales opportunities.
    • Tailoring presentations and demonstrations with the Solutions Engineering team.
    • Leading negotiations.
    • Overseeing the contracting process to ensure successful deal closure.
  • Provide market feedback from prospects and clients through cross-functional collaboration within the Sardine team.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 8+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience.
  • 4+ years of demonstrated success selling to US banks and Fortune 1000 companies, with preferred expertise in fraud and compliance.
  • An extensive network of industry executives and leaders.
  • Proven consultative sales experience and proficiency in conducting impactful discovery sessions.
  • Ability to articulate how risk, compliance, technical, and customer experience challenges translate into tangible business value.
  • Exceptional research, planning, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Strong networking capabilities and the ability to connect effectively with people.
  • Proficiency in managing complex, multi-threaded sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication, public speaking, and writing skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: $280k-$300k OTE + Equity with significant upside potential.
