Sales Executive - Mid Market & Enterprise
Position Overview
Smartcar is seeking an ambitious and talented Sales Executive to drive revenue growth by owning the full sales cycle for Mid Market and Enterprise clients. You will work with innovative mobility companies, demonstrating the value of Smartcar's developer-friendly vehicle APIs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and offers a significant opportunity to shape and expand Smartcar's market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle: Prospecting, engaging leads, closing deals, and nurturing long-term customer relationships.
- Client Portfolio Management: Develop and manage existing clients to foster strong relationships and identify growth opportunities (split between New Business and Expansion).
- Revenue Growth Activities: Execute lead generation, sales, pricing, and contract negotiations for new and existing accounts.
- Product Demonstration: Pitch and demo Smartcar to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Value-Based Selling: Build clear business cases for buyers to highlight ROI impact.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to strengthening Smartcar’s sales process and tactics.
- Market Feedback: Adjust value propositions and share market learnings internally.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a strong pipeline and CRM hygiene.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Solution Architects throughout the sales process, including onboarding and ongoing relationship management.
- Internal Communication: Share customer feedback with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams.
Who You Are
- Experience: 6+ years of experience in a high-performing B2B SaaS closing role.
- Technical Acumen: Experience selling technical products or developer tools (e.g., APIs, SDKs). Ability to quickly learn, understand, and present technical topics.
- Communication Skills: Exemplary writing, speaking, and presentation skills.
- Sales Methodology: Confident with value-based selling methodologies and a challenger mindset.
- Diligence: Diligent with researching and understanding each opportunity.
- Teamwork: A team player who is collaborative, thoughtful, resourceful, and coachable.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the mobility industry is beneficial, though not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits Package
- Base Salary: $95K - $120K
- OTE (On-Target Earnings): $190K - $240K (50/50 split)
- Commission: Uncapped commission
- Equity: Stock options
- Work Arrangement: Remote work within the United States
- Health Insurance: Health, Dental, and Vision covered at 90% for all plans and 80% for dependents.
- 401K: Matching at 4%, starting immediately.
