Snowflake is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join their team and build the future of the AI Data Cloud. This role is responsible for developing and closing business with Enterprise-level clients within the Benelux market. Success in this position requires strong prospecting skills (email, phone, partner ecosystem), the ability to understand and address client requirements, and confidence in negotiating and closing agreements. The role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-visibility, high-impact projects within an innovative, high-growth company. We are looking for energetic, self-managed professionals with experience in complex sales processes and excellent presentation, listening, organization, and contact management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas for allocated accounts and/or territory by developing a sales strategy, target prospect list, and regional sales plan.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing plans that drive revenue growth.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their existing and future IT roadmaps to promote Snowflake solutions.
  • Prospect qualification and development of new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams.
  • Arrange and conduct initial Executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings.
  • Manage the sales process and drive opportunities to closure.
  • Provide ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and identify additional revenue opportunities.

Requirements

  • BA/BS required.
  • 7+ years of field sales experience, preferably with an emphasis on data or cloud-related technology.
  • Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships.
  • Experience consistently hitting sales quotas of $800k+ ARR per year and averaging 8+ face-to-face meetings per week.
  • Focus on new business sales.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in driving consistent activity, pipeline development, and quota achievement.
  • Experience in determining customer requirements and presenting appropriate solutions.
  • Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Experience with executive-level relationship management.
  • Ability to understand the "bigger picture" and the business drivers behind IT.
  • Fluent Flemish/Dutch and English are required.

Bonus Points For Experience With

  • Implementing MEDDPICC.
  • Selling software or cloud-based applications to the Enterprise.
