Account Executive - Kansas City, MO

Position Overview

• Location Type: Remote (requires being physically located in or near Kansas City, MO)

The Account Executive role focuses on driving revenue growth within a defined territory by acquiring, growing, and retaining large shipping clients. The role involves maintaining external relationships with USPS and channel partners, as well as internal cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Strong sales skills and experience
• Proven track record of revenue growth
• Ability to develop lead sources and channel partnerships
• Experience in the shipping or ecommerce industry is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel 3-4 days a week to client locations

Responsibilities

• Increase customer base in assigned territory.
• Outbound prospecting and lead generation.
• Develop lead sources and channel partnerships.
• Partner with Solutions Engineer to develop complex solutions.
• Effectively position Auctane’s suite of products and differentiate competitively.
• Grow an assigned book of business:
  • Annually increase portfolio revenue through cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Prepare strategic plans for top customers annually.
  • Introduce upgrades and new features where applicable.
• Limit managed account churn:
  • Develop multi-layered solutions within accounts.
  • Leverage field presence to add value on-site.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success counterpart.
