Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field, and have at least three years of experience in account management or sales, preferably within the shipping or e-commerce industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to travel 3-4 days per week to client locations in or near Kansas City, MO.
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for increasing the customer base within your assigned territory through outbound prospecting and developing lead sources and channel partnerships. You will also collaborate with Solutions Engineers to develop complex solutions, effectively position Auctane’s products, and grow an assigned book of business through cross-sell and upsell opportunities, while proactively limiting managed account churn by developing multi-layered solutions and leveraging field presence. Furthermore, you will prepare strategic plans for top customers annually and introduce upgrades and new features where applicable, alongside maintaining and growing external relationships with personnel from the United States Postal Service and other channel partners, as well as internal cross-functional teams.
