Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in business or marketing, with an MBA being preferred. A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in field sales, marketing, or dealer operations is required, demonstrating success in performance improvement and leading cross-functional initiatives. Prior OEM dealer contact experience, strong relationship management skills, influential communication abilities, strategic thinking with creative problem-solving capabilities, and comfort in diplomatically handling conflict and performance gaps are essential. The role also requires excellent organizational skills for prioritization and delegation, preferred experience leading a sales team, and a willingness to travel extensively (approximately 80%) within the assigned zone. The employee must reside within 50 miles of the St. Louis, MO zone.
The Zone Manager will lead the zone in achieving sales and aftersales targets, strengthen dealer performance through coaching and strategic planning, and champion digital transformation and Tier 3 marketing excellence. They will align dealer and agency efforts with Local Market Association goals, spearhead customer experience initiatives, and optimize inventory turn rates and accessory integration. The role involves driving a business development culture and dealer engagement, overseeing facility image programs for brand consistency, and instilling a growth mindset across the dealer network. Additionally, the Zone Manager will administer dealer agreements and ensure compliance with performance standards.
