Position Overview

TRUEWERK is launching its performance workwear into retail stores for the first time and is seeking passionate and experienced wholesale or retail apparel merchandisers to join this exciting initiative. As a TRUEWERK Brand Field Representative, you will be the on-the-ground presence in retail locations, responsible for building relationships with store associates, conducting product training, optimizing merchandising, and ensuring a strong brand presence. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy being mobile, engaging in industry-specific conversations, and presenting apparel effectively.

Responsibilities

Plan and Execute Store Visits:

  • Map out weekly store routes and schedule visits in advance, including coordinating associate training sessions.
  • Visit 4-10 stores weekly in designated regions to maintain a consistent field presence and ensure retail displays meet TRUEWERK's brand standards.
  • Gather on-the-ground intelligence, including competitor analysis, sales tracking, and shopper feedback.
  • Identify stores requiring additional support or more frequent visits based on visual displays and inventory.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the TRUEWERK Wholesale Leader to share insights and support retail relationships.

Represent the TRUEWERK Brand In-Store:

  • Build strong relationships with key store associates, particularly in the workwear section.
  • Proactively engage with retail shoppers to increase brand awareness and highlight product benefits.
  • Assess sell-through with store managers, answer product questions, and optimize inventory and model stock.
  • Conduct engaging Tech Sessions to educate store associates on TRUEWERK products, features, benefits, and brand story.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, inspiring associates and growing the documented "Werk Crew Community" of in-store advocates.

Maintain Visual Merchandising & Inventory Standards:

  • Evaluate apparel displays, ensuring cleanliness, branded hangers, and up-to-date signage and graphics.
  • Organize product displays.

Requirements

  • Experience in wholesale or retail apparel merchandising.
  • Located in or near Central Colorado, Southern Wisconsin, or Northern Illinois.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the month to retail locations in Washington, Illinois, Wisconsin, Kansas, and Missouri, with potential for expansion.
  • Willingness to visit TRUEWERK headquarters in Denver, Colorado twice a year for seasonal product launches.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for the trades and workwear.
