Candidates must have a proven track record of building and scaling enterprise sales motions, with a focus on closing complex, high-value deals (>$250K ACV). They should be a natural and inspiring leader with experience building and managing high-performing sales teams, ideally of 10 or more, from early-stage through growth. Deep experience in developing and institutionalizing repeatable sales processes, playbooks, and methodologies in early-stage go-to-market environments is required, along with a strong command of value-based selling, multi-stakeholder deal orchestration, and cultivating executive-level relationships. A self-starter attitude with high ownership, resilience, and a competitive drive is essential, as is a data-driven mindset for analyzing pipeline metrics and forecasting accurately. Experience with sales tech stack implementation and optimization, along with a collaborative cross-functional mindset and excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, are also necessary.
The VP of Sales will lead and execute the enterprise go-to-market strategy for shipper solutions across North America, owning pipeline development, forecasting, territory planning, and quota achievement. They will build executive relationships with senior-level stakeholders within target accounts and industry networks. This role involves leading and scaling an initial team of approximately 6 FTEs, including Account Executives, Solution Architects, and Sales Development Representatives, and engaging personally in high-value enterprise deals. Responsibilities also include establishing sales processes, playbooks, enablement content, and KPIs, collaborating with marketing and RevOps for operational readiness, and recruiting, onboarding, and coaching new sales talent. The VP will own weekly pipeline reviews, forecast accuracy, and deal hygiene within CRM, using data to inform decisions and drive consistent execution.
